I was a New York City EMT first, and then paramedic for five years plus two degrees in Biology. In the U.S. Army I was trained as a Preventive Medicine Specialist. Though I am not now certified, I possess a skill set which I am sure could be utilized. I guarantee there are many other people out there with my skill set who would jump at the chance to help. I've donated money, but that somehow doesn't seem enough. I have a month's vacation coming to me.
